ALGIS in LARIA is an autonomous group affiliated to the Local Authorities Research and Intelligence Association.

ALGIS was formed more than 10 years ago with the aim of raising awareness of the potential and actual benefits of the work of information specialists within local government and improving the effectiveness of information specialists within local government.
