ALGIS in LARIA is the organisation for anyone working with local government information.
This may be in a traditional library role, in knowledge management, coping with the demands of Freedom of Information, in web development or as part of e-government.
ALGIS was formed more than 10 years ago with the aim of raising awareness of the potential and actual benefits of the work of information specialists within local government and improving the effectiveness of information specialists within local government.
We provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and good practice through
